Signs And Symptoms Of Oral Cavity Cancer
- NA sore in the mouth that doesn’t heal (the most common symptom)
- NPain in the mouth that doesn’t go away (also very common)
- NA lump or thickening in the cheek
- NA white or red patch on the gums, tongue, tonsil, or lining of the mouth
- NA sore throat or a feeling that something is caught in the throat that doesn’t go away
- NTrouble chewing or swallowing
- NNumbness of the tongue or other area of the mouth
- NSwelling of the jaw that causes dentures to fit poorly or become uncomfortable
- NLoosening of the teeth or pain around the teeth or jaw
- NVoice changes
- NA lump or mass in the neck
- NWeight loss
- NConstant bad breath
Many of these signs and symptoms can also be caused by things other than cancer, or even by other cancers. However, it is advised to see your doctor for confirmation.
